Any stories submitted must include permission for revision for purposes of continuity.
Assassinations of existing characters will only be permitted if they serve to advance the storyline in an interesting and worthwhile fashion. Please note that, like in mainstream ELFQUEST, elves go out of their way to avoid killing their own kind, and that assassinating other members' characters is not exactly polite. If you must kill someone, kill a nobody - and on a ship with a crew of around seven hundred, there are bound to be plenty of them...
Use of NEXT GENERATION characters (and any others from that era, e.g. DEEP SPACE NINE, VOYAGER) - do remember to credit Paramount with their rightly deserved copyright, and don't kill any of them. I may have plans myself. It might be worth while checking out the HISTORY section, as I'll be covering key differences between the "mainstream" worlds of STAR TREK and ELFQUEST and the world of the I.S.S. Ghidorah.
